Masdar has signed a co-operation agreement in Abu Dhabi with the Abu Dhabi general services company Musanada, affirming that all companies registered and licensed within Masdar City are eligible to participate in tenders issued by Musanada. The agreement was signed by Dr Sultan Al Jaber, CEO of Masdar, and H.E Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi, CEO of Musanada, in a ceremony at Masdar City.

Remarking on the signing, Dr Sultan Al Jaber said: “As an emerging hub for talent, research, development and entrepreneurship in renewable energy and clean technology, Masdar aims to provide introductions and/or opportunities for companies registered and licensed in Masdar City. Introducing our companies to Musanada and allowing them to find out what the requirements are for participating in the bidding process for government contracts will allow all parties to identify what value they may add to future relationships. We are grateful to Musanada for this opportunity that benefits all parties involved as Musanada can benefit from the talent Masdar City is attracting and assist in fulfilling the Emirate’s growth plans. We urge companies to take advantage of this incentive and register.”

Commenting on the cooperation, H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi said: “We are proud to work closely with such a unique company as Masdar, which firmly believes in the development of a green future. Musanada is eager to work with private companies that will allow us to service the Abu Dhabi Government in a way that will contribute to the sustainability of the 2030 Vision.”
