Peugeot, the 200-year old French car brand, and Omeir Bin Youssef & Sons officially opened their third showroom in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday
The inauguration of the new Peugeot showroom was held under the patronage of HE Mr Alain Azouaou, the French Ambassador to the UAE, in the presence of senior officials from Peugeot’s Middle East Representative Office and Omeir Bin Youssef & Sons, the exclusive distributors of Peugeot cars in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Located on the Airport Road, the new showroom is expected to meet the increasing demand for quality cars in the UAE’s capital.
“There has been resurgence in the automobile markets in the UAE, as consumer confidence returns to the country,” said Mr. Khalifa Bin Omeir, Chief Executive Officer, Omeir Bin Youssef & Sons LLC. “We have witnessed significant interest from customers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain for Peugeot cars, and are confident that our sales volumes for 2011 will see 100 per cent year on year growth from 2010. Going forward, we are taking all necessary steps to achieve our objectives of doubling our sales volumes in 2012 and becoming the largest European brand by unit sales in our territory in three years.”
