Ace Ventura Junior steps up in the role of Pet Detective when his mum is falsely accused of stealing a baby panda. Ready to clear the family name, the 12-year-old mini-hero sets out on an adventure to sniff out the real suspect – and chaos naturally ensues.

Those hoping for a less irritating sequel than the last Ace Ventura film won’t be so impressed. But despite the lack of infectious, over-the-top comedy capers from Carrey, the film still covers enough of the criteria for an amusing, child-friendly flick.
