Dubai South has announced the launch of a new, state-of-the-art multiuser logistics facility within its Logistics District, designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), e-commerce companies, and global trade operators. Covering a built-up area of approximately 215,278 square feet, the new development is scheduled to be handed over for operations by Q1 2026.

The facilities are strategically positioned in the freight forwarding zone and offer seamless connectivity to Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, and the UAE’s major highway networks. This strategic location is set to enhance logistical efficiency and facilitate smoother import-export processes for tenants operating regionally and globally.

The launch is part of Dubai South’s wider ambition to become a leading hub for logistics and international trade, offering customisable, air-conditioned, and combinable units tailored to meet the evolving demands of businesses across various sectors.

Speaking about the project, Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District, stated:

“At Dubai South, we are committed to empowering businesses with flexible, sustainable, and strategically located infrastructure. These new facilities are a significant step forward in fostering SME growth and enhancing the region’s competitiveness.”

Designed with scalability and sustainability in mind, the facilities are offered in two primary sizes—2,152 sq. ft. and 3,767 sq. ft.—and can be combined to suit larger operational requirements. All units are temperature-controlled and provide ground-level access, supporting a wide range of uses from storage to light industrial activity.

The development also incorporates on-site retail and lifestyle amenities, ensuring convenience for both businesses and their employees. This integration of commercial functionality with employee well-being represents Dubai South’s holistic approach to modern logistics infrastructure.

Targeted primarily at SMEs, logistics companies, traders, and e-commerce operators, the new hub is expected to attract a diverse array of tenants looking for reliable, secure, and well-connected premises in the UAE.

Located within Dubai South’s broader Logistics District ecosystem, the new facilities are adjacent to key zones, including EZDubai—a dedicated e-commerce free zone—and the Contract Logistics Zone, which directly connects to cargo terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport. The district also features a bonded logistics corridor offering uninterrupted cargo movement to and from Jebel Ali Port.

This launch further underscores Dubai South’s reputation for offering cutting-edge infrastructure backed by robust policy frameworks and investor-friendly regulations. As the region continues to grow as a global trade and logistics hub, these latest offerings are expected to play a pivotal role in driving economic diversification and SME empowerment in the UAE.
