Try not to fill up on the bread at the Persian restaurant in Marina Mall, though it will be hard to resist the doughy, chewy edges once you take that first bite. Save room for the Yoghurt Kabab – pieces of chicken marinated in yoghurt and black pepper that are absolutely bursting with flavour and so succulent.

The Tandoori Chicken at Kababs & Kurries – located on the ground floor of The Souk Central Market – is a classic, deliciously rendered. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the flavour is outstanding. So savoury with just enough heat to keep you wanting more. For a lighter option try the Fish Tikka which is also excellent.

Lebanese Flower
This Abu Dhabi institution is known by everyone, but always deserves another mention. The food is some of the best you’ll find in the city and at prices that will make everyone smile. Try a mixed grill (order by the kilo) for a taste of meats they have to offer, from shish tawook to delicately delicious baby lamb chops. Yum yum.
