GMC Middle East has officially launched the next-generation 2026 GMC Terrain, marking a striking evolution of its compact SUV and reinforcing the brand’s “Professional Grade” philosophy. With new design language, improved off-road capabilities, enhanced connectivity, and a suite of premium trims, the Terrain is set to appeal to adventurers, luxury-seekers, and everyday drivers alike.

A Trim for Every Lifestyle

GMC has revamped its trim strategy with a focus on distinct customer needs:

  • Elevation (FWD & AWD): Replaces the SLE and SLT trims. Sleek, versatile, and sporty, it includes an optional Black Edition, adding gloss black accents and 19-inch wheels.
  • AT4 (AWD): Built for the off-road enthusiast, with increased ride height, all-terrain tires, Terrain Mode, and enhanced suspension.
  • Denali (AWD): The top-tier luxury trim featuring advanced capability, premium finishes, and signature LED lighting animations.

Modern Performance, On and Off-Road

All trims are powered by a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, offering:

  • 175 hp, with 275 Nm of torque on AWD models (8-speed automatic).
  • 250 Nm of torque on FWD models (CVT).

The AT4 trim stands out as the most capable Terrain ever, thanks to off-road-focused engineering for rugged adventures.

Design That Demands Attention

The new Terrain sports a bolder exterior with reimagined fascias, grilles, and an available two-tone roof. The color lineup includes returning favorites like Volcanic Red Tintcoat and newcomers like Rapids Blue Metallic and Glacier White Tricoat.

Wheel options vary by trim, with the Denali offering up to 20-inch alloys, while Elevation features a Black Edition with 19-inch gloss-black wheels and bold badging.

Inside, the Terrain features refined materials and cabin finishes, with seating choices including Forest Storm with Mahogany Accents, premium cloth, and perforated leather in tones like Light Ash Gray.

Smarter, More Intuitive Connectivity

Taking center stage is a 15-inch diagonal infotainment display, paired with an 11-inch digital driver cluster. Tech features include:

  • Google Built-In
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • 5G Wi-Fi
  • 360° HD Surround Vision
  • Rear Camera Mirror
  • Teen Driver Mode
  • AutoSense hands-free power liftgate (AT4 & Denali)

Comfort & Safety Standard

Standard features across trims include:

  • Remote start
  • Heated front seats
  • Heated leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • Panoramic sunroof (standard on AT4 & Denali)

The Terrain offers 15 standard safety features, including:

  • Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Intersection Collision Mitigation
  • Side Blind Zone Steering Assist
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Reverse Automatic Braking
