Papa Johns is introducing a new twist on pizza with the global launch of its Croissant Pizza, a hybrid creation blending the rich, buttery layers of a croissant with the bold toppings and flavors of a traditional pizza. The innovation is being introduced in nine international markets, making its debut in the UAE, where customers can now experience the indulgent new offering.

The Croissant Pizza features a light, flaky, braided crust inspired by the classic French pastry, offering a crisp texture and delicate bite. Consumers can personalize their orders with a variety of toppings, combining Papa Johns’ signature ingredients with this new base to deliver what the brand calls a “craveable, delicious product” that reflects both culinary innovation and cultural trends.

Chris Lyn-Sue, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of International at Papa Johns, said the launch followed extensive global research.

“We conducted deep consumer testing, and Croissant Pizza scored highly in every market. We saw an opportunity in the growing trend of croissant-based food mashups—like the cronut and crookie—and brought that spirit to pizza,” he explained.

The product has been over a year in development and reflects Papa Johns’ ongoing commitment to innovation under its “Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.®” ethos.

To mark the global launch, Papa Johns has partnered with KidSuper, the creative fashion label founded by Colm Dillane, to design a limited-edition insulated delivery bag, known as the Papa Johns x KidSuper Hot Bag. The design celebrates craftsmanship and creativity, with features inspired by the Croissant Pizza’s distinct crust: a braided strap mimicking the dough, crescent-shaped zipper, and plush textures echoing pastry folds.

The custom delivery bags will make their first appearance in the UAE and feature during Paris Fashion Week Men’s SS26, as part of the official KidSuper runway show. Select customers in participating countries—including Korea, China, Chile, and Peru—may receive their Croissant Pizza in one of these exclusive hot bags. Those lucky enough to get one can keep it as a collector’s item.

Colm Dillane praised the collaboration as a meeting of kindred creative minds.

“KidSuper is built on taking risks and celebrating originality. Papa Johns is doing the same here—not just launching a product, but elevating food with design, culture, and craftsmanship,” he said.

Papa Johns has positioned this launch as more than just a product release—it’s a brand statement, blending global food culture with high fashion and premium design.

The Croissant Pizza is now available in the UAE and will roll out in select markets for a limited time. For more details or to place an order, customers can visit www.papajohns.com or use the official Papa Johns mobile app.
