Emirates is gearing up for the summer travel season with a refreshed line-up of kids’ toys and onboard amenities, staying true to its family-friendly reputation. Ahead of the school holidays, the airline expects nearly one million young passengers to fly with Emirates and enjoy an upgraded onboard experience tailored just for them.
The new range of kids’ kits is themed around Emirates’ global sports and cultural sponsorships, covering everything from football and tennis to literature and music. Designed to spark curiosity and excitement, the kits come in three age-specific categories: 0–2 years, 3–6 years, and 7–12 years—each offering 12 collectible items.
In a move toward greater sustainability, many of the new toys and bags are made from at least 50% recycled materials, using post-consumer polyester and paper sourced from responsibly managed forests.
For infants (0–2 years), the new kits include thoughtful travel essentials such as a reusable changing mat, Naif-branded nurturing cream and wipes, a teething spoon, a vibrating plush toy that attaches to a stroller or seat, and a collectible cozy blanket.
Children aged 3–6 years can explore a variety of themed backpacks—from literature-inspired “Tiny Treasures” bags to sports kits like football and tennis-themed designs. Each child also receives Emirates’ Fly with Me magazine, now including a collectible character card and interactive activities like puzzles and colouring pages.
For older kids (7–12 years), Emirates has introduced trendy lifestyle bags like the Big City crossbody, Tech Pro bag, Explorer backpack and Training Day duffle—all available in vibrant colours such as dark blue, orange, and purple. The designs are aimed at function and style, whether kids are heading to sports practice or a weekend sleepover.
The experience extends beyond the aircraft with a new Little Travellers Collection available at the Emirates Official Store. The expanded merchandise includes t-shirts, lunch bags, water bottles, keyrings, and even dress-up uniforms for aspiring cabin crew or pilots aged 1–10 years. Onesies for babies aged up to 18 months are also part of the offering.
This latest rollout reflects Emirates’ continued commitment to enhancing the flying experience for families and young travellers. With thoughtful touches, sustainable design, and imaginative themes, the airline is setting a new standard for family travel just in time for summer.
