Škoda Auto has appointed Q-Auto as its exclusive distributor in Qatar, marking a strategic expansion for the Czech brand into one of the Gulf’s most dynamic automotive markets. The announcement includes plans for a new showroom launch in late 2025, reinforcing the brand’s long-term investment in the country’s growing demand for intelligent and reliable mobility.

With a focus on high-value vehicles and top-tier customer service, the partnership is set to revamp Škoda’s market presence in Qatar. Q-Auto, well known for its previous partnerships with Volkswagen and Audi, brings a proven track record of premium customer engagement, operational excellence, and aftersales support.

A Portfolio for Every Qatari Driver

Škoda’s Qatar lineup now includes five models tailored to a range of consumer needs:

  • Kodiaq: The flagship seven-seater SUV, ideal for families and long-haul comfort
  • Karoq: A practical yet stylish compact SUV
  • Kushaq: A nimble, urban-focused SUV
  • Octavia: A globally acclaimed sedan known for space and efficiency
  • Superb: Launching soon in Qatar, designed to serve both individual and fleet customers

Each model highlights Škoda’s core values of European craftsmanship, safety features, and “Simply Clever” design, appealing to tech-savvy and value-conscious buyers.

Strategic Partnership for Regional Growth

Lukas Honzak, Managing Director of Škoda Middle East, noted:

“Our partnership with Q-Auto is a significant step in our regional growth plan. Qatar’s appetite for well-designed, feature-rich vehicles makes it a prime market for Škoda. Together, we aim to build long-term trust and deliver 10,000 annual deliveries across the Middle East in the coming years.”

Ahmed Shariefi, CEO of Q-Auto, added:

“Škoda’s smart solutions and strong product range align with Qatar’s vision for modern mobility. Through our presence at Doha Festival City and a new facility on Street 41, we’re redefining the entire ownership experience — from purchase to service.”

Future-Focused Mobility

With one of the world’s highest GDP per capita rates and a youthful, digitally connected population, Qatar is seen as fertile ground for Škoda’s regional ambitions. Qatari motorists are increasingly drawn to European brands that balance quality, innovation, and safety — traits deeply embedded in Škoda’s 130-year heritage.

This partnership with Q-Auto signals more than a sales expansion — it’s a blueprint for what Škoda calls a “clever, rewarding, and distinctly Škoda” driving experience across the region.
