JAGGAER, a global leader in autonomous commerce, has announced the launch of JAI—an advanced AI-powered procurement orchestrator that reimagines the relationship between procurement professionals and enterprise technology. Described as a human-guided intelligent partner rather than a traditional assistant, JAI is poised to transform enterprise procurement into a dynamic, outcome-driven experience.
Built as the next evolution of JAGGAER Assist and embedded within the JAGGAER One platform, JAI (pronounced “Jay”) leverages the latest advancements in large language models (LLMs) to offer a powerful suite of capabilities, including natural language Q&A, PO invoice anomaly detection, and generative AI for summarization and drafting.
With JAI, JAGGAER introduces a staged rollout of agentic AI across its platform:
- JAI Assist, available today, serves as a conversational coach—answering procurement questions, guiding navigation, and initiating tasks like RFP creation or supplier evaluations.
- JAI Copilot, launching in 2025, will offer real-time suggestions and contextual insights across procurement functions, detecting outliers and suggesting next steps.
- JAI Autopilot, a future release, will manage complex workflows autonomously through a no-code/low-code interface, enabling users to supervise rather than execute detailed operations.
The ultimate goal is to shift from simple automation to full orchestration, where JAI coordinates across domain agents in sourcing, contracting, forecasting, and cash flow management. This shift enables human users to focus on strategic decisions, while JAI handles execution at scale—unlocking new levels of efficiency and value.
“Today, we’re not launching a feature—we’re activating the intelligence foundation for JAGGAER’s future,” said Jon Lawrence, Chief Product Officer. “This isn’t about adding AI to procurement. It’s about transforming procurement into an intelligent system—one that learns, adapts, and gets better with every decision.”
Starting this fall, JAI’s orchestration capabilities will expand, providing unified, conversational access to procurement workflows and analytics. JAGGAER invites customers to join its Early Access Program to co-innovate and shape the future of intelligent procurement.
JAI represents a bold shift toward autonomous procurement—turning enterprise platforms into decision-making partners that evolve, advise, and deliver tangible business outcomes.
