Deloitte Middle East and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced a major expansion of their regional partnership, with a joint commitment to deliver $1 billion worth of services by 2030, aiming to accelerate digital transformation across the Middle East.

Unveiled at a strategic meeting at Deloitte’s offices in Dubai, the alliance builds on the companies’ global collaboration and underscores their shared ambition to support rapid cloud adoption and advanced technology integration in key regional industries.

As part of the expanded initiative, Deloitte and AWS will co-invest in scaling local capabilities, building a skilled talent pool, and launching dedicated Centers of Excellence. These centers will help organizations across sectors—such as finance, healthcare, energy, and the public sector—embrace cloud-native solutions, AI integration, and cyber-secure digital infrastructure.

“This initiative is a major step forward in our mission to drive large-scale transformation for organizations across the region,” said Rashid Bashir, Technology & Transformation Leader at Deloitte Middle East. “By deepening our alliance with AWS, we are not only investing in advanced technologies but also in the talent and tools that local businesses need to thrive.”

The alliance will focus on modernizing core operations, enhancing enterprise agility, and fueling innovation by embedding artificial intelligence at the heart of business processes. Deloitte also plans to expand its network of AWS-certified experts in the Middle East, offering clients robust, localized support for complex transformation programs.

From developing secure and scalable cloud strategies to embedding generative AI and advanced data analytics, the collaboration will bring a comprehensive set of solutions to organizations undergoing digital reinvention.

Tanuja Randery, Managing Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa at AWS, emphasized the significance of the regional partnership: “This collaboration means Deloitte and AWS can bring their proven methodology for industry solutions to customers in the Middle East. Customers can look forward to significantly accelerating the pace of their bold transformation projects by having a partner which will stay with them from inception to value realization.”

This regional initiative mirrors successful partnerships already established in Europe and Africa, where Deloitte and AWS have jointly supported hundreds of clients through end-to-end digital journeys. With rising demand in the Middle East for trusted technology partners, the expanded alliance is expected to become a cornerstone in the region’s digital future.

The announcement also aligns with broader regional goals to develop knowledge-based economies and leverage AI and cloud technologies as engines for innovation and economic resilience.

As businesses across the Gulf and wider Middle East look to digitize at speed and scale, the Deloitte-AWS partnership is poised to help them build smarter, more agile, and future-ready operations.
