Acer Gadget, a subsidiary of Acer Inc., has unveiled its latest ventures into artificial intelligence-powered wearables and smart mobility at COMPUTEX 2025, one of the world’s leading technology trade shows. Among the headline innovations are the Acer FreeSense Ring and AI TransBuds, alongside a comprehensive display of new e-scooters and e-bikes.

These announcements underscore Acer’s growing ambition to blend wellness, communication, and smart mobility through technology-driven design.

Wellness Reimagined: The Acer FreeSense Ring

Taking centre stage is the Acer FreeSense Ring, a sleek, titanium-alloy wearable that combines elegant aesthetics with real-time biometric monitoring. The ring captures core health metrics—such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, heart rate variability, and sleep quality—and sends the data to a mobile companion app for AI-generated wellness insights.

Unlike some competitors, the FreeSense Ring offers unrestricted access to health data without requiring a subscription, allowing users to track trends, receive lifestyle suggestions, and make informed choices about their daily health routines.

With continuous tracking and sleep stage analysis, the ring is designed for those seeking a discreet, comfortable, and high-tech wellness assistant in their everyday lives.

Real-Time Conversations with AI TransBuds

Aimed at breaking language barriers, the Acer AI TransBuds are a compact set of earbuds equipped with two-way real-time voice translation. Activated via a plug-in smartphone receiver, the buds support 15 major languages from Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Unique among translation devices, only one person needs to wear the earbuds to carry on a translated conversation—ideal for casual chats, business meetings, or online classes. Live transcription and captioning functions offer added clarity, enabling users to review conversations later or follow along visually.

By combining AI-powered speech recognition and semantic analysis, the TransBuds aim to offer natural, fluid communication without the need for bulky hardware or intensive setup.

Smart Urban Mobility: Acer’s eScooters and eBikes

Further expanding its footprint in the smart mobility sector, Acer Gadget also presented its 2025 eMobility lineup, which includes the eScooter Series 4 Select, Series 5 Select, Predator ES Storm, and Predator ES Thunder. These models come with motors ranging from 400 to 500 watts and feature adaptive suspension, intelligent braking, and mobile app integration for performance tracking and anti-theft functions.

Also making a return appearance is the Predator eRanger, a rugged, fat-tire e-bike that was first showcased at the Taipei Cycle Show earlier this year. With robust off-road capabilities and smart connectivity, the eRanger highlights Acer’s goal of fusing outdoor adventure with high-performance design.

A Broader Vision

By merging AI, health tech, and sustainable transport, Acer Gadget is positioning itself as a multi-sector innovator in the global consumer electronics market.

“At COMPUTEX 2025, we’re showcasing more than products—we’re demonstrating how AI can enhance everyday life across communication, wellness, and urban living,” said a spokesperson for Acer Gadget.

As Acer continues to diversify beyond computing and into intelligent lifestyle tech, its latest showcase suggests a future of more connected, healthy, and mobile consumers—powered by AI.
