LG Unveils Energy-Saving Air Conditioners for UAE Heat

As temperatures across the UAE begin their annual climb towards 50°C, LG Electronics has rolled out a new series of air conditioners specifically designed to withstand the country’s extreme summer conditions while cutting energy consumption.

The company’s latest DualCool and ArtCool split air conditioning systems boast enhanced performance, reduced noise levels, and smart control features—offering a timely solution for residents preparing for months of relentless heat.

At the heart of LG’s innovation is its Dual Inverter Compressor technology, engineered to handle temperatures as high as 50°C without compromising efficiency. The compressors automatically adjust speed to maintain the desired indoor climate without the constant power cycling that plagues conventional models. This results in up to 65% energy savings and 60% faster cooling, according to LG.

With air conditioning accounting for up to 70% of household electricity bills in the UAE during peak summer, these savings could make a significant difference for families and individuals.

“Our DualCool technology is a response to the real-world challenges people face in this region,” said a representative from LG Electronics Gulf. “We designed these systems not just to cool faster, but to work harder and smarter when it matters most.”

The new systems also meet T4 certification, the industry’s highest performance standard for high-temperature climates. This ensures reliability in desert-like conditions where lesser systems may shut down or underperform.

Recognising that residents spend more time indoors during the summer, LG has prioritised quiet performance. The new units feature skew fan technology, which reduces operational noise significantly—making them suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, and home offices.

The smart functionality is another major highlight. All DualCool models are compatible with LG ThinQ, the company’s smart home platform. This allows users to remotely control air conditioners through a smartphone or voice assistant, adjust temperatures, set timers, or even pre-cool rooms before arriving home.

Design has also played a role in the rollout. The ArtCool series showcases a sleek mirror-glass finish, offering a modern, minimalist look that complements a variety of interiors. LG says the goal is to make air conditioners not just functional, but also an aesthetic part of the home.

To support swift adoption ahead of the summer peak, LG has streamlined the installation process. Improvements in tubing access and mounting design allow for faster, more efficient setup by professional teams stationed throughout the UAE.

With demand for cooling solutions expected to surge, LG is encouraging customers to act early to avoid delays.

Consumers interested in exploring the full product range or scheduling installation can visit LG’s official UAE website at www.lg.com/ae.
