Dubai Sports World (DSW) is set to make a high-energy return this summer with a special August edition, offering Dubai’s residents and visitors a vibrant indoor destination to stay fit, social, and active throughout the hottest part of the year.
Running from August 3 to September 2 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), and organized in partnership with Dubai Sports Council (DSC), DSW 2025 spans 25,000 square metres of indoor space and features over 40 courts and pitches for a diverse range of sports and family-friendly activities. The venue will be open daily from 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight.
⚽ Fitness & Fun for All Ages
Sports enthusiasts can enjoy everything from basketball, football, badminton, cricket, padel, and volleyball to pickleball, tennis, and table tennis, all supported by top-tier facilities. The free-access community gym returns, boasting cardio machines, functional training rigs, and strength zones for casual and serious athletes alike.
Dubai Kids World is back and bigger than ever, with inflatable slides, soft-play obstacle courses, and retro arcade games, offering an exciting and supervised space for children while parents take part in their own fitness routines.
🏃♂️ Dubai’s First Indoor Half Marathon
Kicking off opening day, Sunday, August 3, is the debut of DSW Run IN, Dubai’s first-ever indoor half marathon — a professionally timed race in a fully climate-controlled space, complete with cheering zones and hydration points.
Later in the month, on Saturday, August 23, the DSW Summer League will bring together top corporate teams from across the UAE for a day of spirited workplace competition and team building.
🌟 High-Impact Programs and Inclusive Sports
This year’s edition features nine sports academies, including Galaxy Blues (football) and Taal Basketball Academy, offering U.S.-level coaching. Sessions are available through the DSW app, which enables real-time booking and QR-code check-in.
His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, said:
“Dubai Sports World promotes active lifestyles and strengthens community interaction during the summer. With new events and activities, this year’s edition will unite participants from over 200 nationalities in a diverse, inclusive environment.”
The 2025 edition also emphasizes social inclusion, with tailored programs for sanitation engineers, delivery workers, senior citizens, and emergency personnel, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to making sports accessible to all segments of society.
Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, EVP at DWTC, added:
“This is our most dynamic programming yet. With the support of DSC, we’re proud to bring communities together through sport in a way that’s fun, inclusive, and impactful.”
