Four Seasons Hotel Doha has been named the number one City Hotel in North Africa and the Middle East in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2025, marking a significant milestone during the property’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

The annual awards, based on reader surveys, highlight the world’s top travel experiences, from hotels and airlines to cities and cruise lines. The accolade cements Four Seasons Doha’s status as a standout destination for luxury and service in the heart of Qatar’s capital.

A Landmark Honour

Shadi Suleman, Regional Vice President and General Manager at the hotel, welcomed the announcement with pride:

“Being named the #1 City Hotel in North Africa and the Middle East by Travel + Leisure is a great honour — and a meaningful way to continue celebrating our 20-year journey in Doha,” he said. “This recognition is all thanks to the passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment of our team, who every day deliver exceptional service and create memorable moments for our guests.”

Located in the vibrant West Bay district, Four Seasons Hotel Doha features 237 luxury rooms and suites, offering sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and the city skyline. The hotel is known for its private beach, indoor and outdoor pools, and spa and wellness facilities — a blend that positions it as an urban retreat for leisure and business travellers alike.

Culinary Destination

The hotel is also a hub for fine dining. It houses nine acclaimed restaurants and lounges, including Nobu Doha, the largest outpost of the globally recognised brand, Curiosa by Jean-Georges, and Le Deli Robuchon. This culinary variety has made Four Seasons Doha a key player in the city’s growing gastronomic scene.

Wellness and Heritage

Its spa and wellness centre offers a comprehensive menu of treatments, personal training, and wellness programmes, set against the backdrop of a serene garden — a rare find in a bustling metropolis. The hotel also integrates Qatari heritage into its design and service philosophy, marrying local culture with modern luxury.

Trusted Recognition

Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards are among the most respected in the travel industry, serving as a guide for discerning travellers. With voting open to readers globally, the rankings reflect personal experiences and satisfaction levels across a wide array of categories.

This latest recognition adds to the property’s list of international accolades, reinforcing its role as a flagship for Four Seasons in the Middle East.

Suleman expressed gratitude to the hotel’s global community:

“To everyone who voted for us — thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you back (or for the first time!) and show you what makes Four Seasons Hotel Doha so special.”

As Doha continues to grow as a travel hub, this award reaffirms the hotel’s place at the top — offering both luxury and a sense of home in the Gulf region.
