Enova, Schneider Electric Team Up on Energy Innovation

Enova, a leading provider of integrated energy and multi-technical solutions in the Middle East, has announced a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation. The collaboration aims to accelerate the region’s transition toward cleaner, smarter, and more resilient energy systems.

The agreement will see Schneider Electric’s cutting-edge technologies — including microgrids, photovoltaic (PV) systems, and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure — integrated into Enova’s extensive service portfolio. These solutions will be combined with Enova’s proven expertise in energy efficiency strategies and advanced asset management, creating a powerful platform for sustainability-driven transformation.

“As we accelerate our progress towards a sustainable energy future in the Gulf, our collaboration with Schneider Electric enables us to integrate advanced technologies and optimize our service portfolio,” said Renaud Capris, CEO of Enova. “Together, we can enhance value for our clients while delivering measurable impact in energy use and carbon emissions.”

Pioneering Sustainable Impact

Since its founding in 2002 as a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim and Veolia, Enova has helped clients save over AED 530 million in energy costs and cut carbon emissions by more than 580,000 tons. This new partnership is expected to build on that legacy, offering organizations the tools to achieve ambitious decarbonization targets in line with Veolia’s GreenUp strategic program and broader regional climate commitments.

“We are uniquely positioned to help businesses across diverse sectors reduce energy consumption and decarbonize operations,” Capris added.

Shared Commitment to Decarbonization

Amel Chadli, President of Gulf Countries at Schneider Electric, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the shared mission:

“As the region places greater urgency on decarbonizing its economy and building resilient energy systems, it’s vital that businesses modernize infrastructure and optimize consumption. Our partnership with Enova will set a new benchmark for sustainable operations.”

Schneider Electric’s EcoFit and EcoCare programs — focused on modernizing aging systems and promoting circularity — will be central to the initiative, helping organizations implement future-ready energy solutions and integrate renewable technologies into core operations.

Technology + Expertise for a Greener Future

By combining Schneider Electric’s connected technologies with Enova’s on-the-ground capabilities in technical operations and energy performance, the collaboration aims to deliver intelligent, scalable, and efficient solutions tailored to the Gulf’s fast-evolving sustainability landscape.

The partnership reinforces both companies’ commitment to fostering innovation, operational resilience, and climate responsibility, offering a model for how cross-sector alliances can contribute to national and regional environmental goals.

As demand for clean energy and sustainable infrastructure continues to rise, the Enova-Schneider alliance is poised to play a leading role in shaping a greener, more efficient future for the Middle East.
