Nissan Formula E Team has confirmed that Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato will remain as its driver pairing for the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
The decision follows a strong 2024/25 campaign in which the Japanese manufacturer finished third in the Teams’ Championship – its best result since taking full control of its Formula E operations.
Champion stays put
Reigning Formula E World Champion Rowland will continue with Nissan for a sixth season under a multi-year deal. The British driver secured three pole positions and seven podiums, including four victories, on his way to his first world title last season.
Rowland made his full-time debut with Nissan in Season 5, stayed for three years, and rejoined ahead of Season 10. His return culminated in the team’s most successful year to date.
Nato targets next step
French driver Nato will compete in his third season with the team, and second consecutive one, after rejoining last year. He scored consistent points and took pole position in Miami in Season 11.
Consistency for a title push
Team principal Tommaso Volpe said the unchanged line-up would provide stability as Nissan aims to challenge for all three championships – Drivers’, Teams’ and Manufacturers’ – in the upcoming season.
Season 12 of Formula E will begin later this year, with Nissan hoping to build on its momentum and push for more silverware.
