Aldar unveils coastal homes on Fahid Island

Aldar Properties has announced the launch of Fahid Beach Terraces, a six-building residential development set along the shoreline of Fahid Island, billed as Abu Dhabi’s first coastal wellness destination.

The community is designed to combine luxury living with wellness-focused amenities, offering residents what Aldar describes as a “retreat-like experience” in a natural setting.

At the heart of the project is The Club House, a beachfront facility with a gym overlooking the sea, fitness studios, a spa featuring salt relaxation zones, cold plunge pools, and private treatment suites. Social spaces include a cinema and private dining areas.

Wellness at the core

Podium-level landscaping features shaded gardens, yoga pavilions, three 25-metre infinity pools, and children’s play zones. A waterfront promenade houses volleyball and paddle courts, open-air fitness areas, and cafés and boutiques geared towards health and wellbeing.

The development offers direct access to Fahid Island’s key destinations, including the Fahid Event Plaza, Coral Drive retail boulevard, and King’s College School Wimbledon.

Design and sustainability

The architecture, by Koichi Takada, and interiors, by award-winning studio M&L, emphasise natural light, ventilation, and sea views. Residences range from one- to four-bedroom apartments and duplexes to six exclusive five-bedroom penthouses.

Fahid Beach Terraces is aligned with the island’s wider sustainability goals. Fahid Island is the world’s first Fitwel-certified island, and the project targets Fitwel 2-star, Estidama 3 Pearl, and LEED Gold certifications.

Sales and availability

The 501-unit development is open to buyers of all nationalities, with sales beginning on 27 August 2025 through Aldar’s sales centres in Yas Island and Dubai, or via the company’s customer management team.

Aldar says the project “weaves together wellness, design, and nature” to create homes where “true wellbeing begins at home.”
