Arabian Travel Market (ATM) will launch a dedicated ATM Travel Tech event at its 2026 edition, running from 4–7 May at Dubai World Trade Centre, in response to soaring global demand for innovation in the travel sector.
Previously a fast-growing section within ATM, Travel Tech will expand into two halls and host more than 180 exhibitors from 30 countries, including industry leaders Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport, WebBeds and HBX Group, alongside hundreds of start-ups focused on AI, automation, fintech and mobility.
Anchored in ATM 2026’s theme, “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology”, the new event will spotlight AI-powered trip planning, immersive commerce, smart mobility, cybersecurity and sustainable innovation.
At its core will be an 850 sq m Tech & Innovation Hub, featuring immersive zones, live demos, and augmented experiences. The Future Stage, a 250-seat theatre, will host more than 25 sessions, 30 demos and two Start-up Pitch Battles, with discussions ranging from robotics to green technology.
“As travel technology evolves at an unprecedented pace, ATM Travel Tech will serve as a meeting place for the minds and technologies reshaping our sector and beyond,” said Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market.
The launch comes amid rapid industry growth. Research and Markets valued the global travel technology market at US$10.7bn in 2024, projecting it to reach US$18.6bn by 2033 at a CAGR of 6.05%. A recent Kaspersky survey found 84% of travellers plan to use AI in future trips.
ATM 2026 will also feature the expanded IBTM @ ATM, connecting the MICE sector, and the ATM Ultra Luxury Lounge for bespoke travel. The wider ATM event, now in its 33rd year, draws 55,000 professionals from 166 countries and more than 2,800 exhibitors, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a hub for global travel and tourism innovation.
