Azizi inks Dulux Paints deal for Dubai projects

Azizi Developments, one of the UAE’s largest private developers, has signed an agreement with AkzoNobel Decorative Paints LLC, the supplier of Dulux Paints in the UAE. The deal will see Dulux decorative wall paints and floor coatings used across multiple Azizi projects in Dubai, including the developer’s ambitious AED 75 billion Azizi Milan master community.

AkzoNobel, founded in the Netherlands, is a global leader in paints and coatings, with Dulux recognised worldwide for its durability, design appeal and sustainable formulations. Its products are used in both residential and commercial projects globally, with a focus on long-lasting performance and reduced environmental impact.

Farhad Azizi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Azizi Developments, welcomed the partnership as an important step in ensuring quality and sustainability across the company’s communities.
“We are delighted to partner with AkzoNobel Decorative Paints LLC for the supply of the renowned Dulux Paints brand across numerous of our developments. High-quality, sustainable coatings are vital to the design, longevity, and value of our communities,” he said. “Dulux, renowned globally for its innovation and environmental stewardship, aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver world-class, future-ready developments.”

Azizi Milan: A new city within a city

The agreement comes as Azizi advances construction of Azizi Milan, a landmark community designed to reflect Italian sophistication and the cultural heritage of Milan. Spread across 40 million square feet and valued at more than AED 75 billion, it will be one of the largest mixed-use developments in the UAE.

Planned to house 144,000 residents, the project will include 800 hotel keys, luxury residences, retail districts, schools, mosques, offices, wellness facilities and parks. Its tallest towers will rise up to 70 storeys, shaping Dubai’s northern skyline, while mid-rise buildings of 25 to 35 floors will create a more residential atmosphere.

The development is also set to feature a sprawling mall, pedestrian-only fashion streets dedicated to perfumes, cosmetics, bags and couture, as well as an extensive nightlife and fine-dining scene. Inspired by Milan’s cultural and fashion heritage, Azizi Milan aims to establish itself as a regional hub for high-end retail and internationally recognised fashion events.

Sustainability at the core

Sustainability is central to the project. Every building will include landscaped rooftop gardens, podiums and green spaces, while infinity pools will be surrounded by lush greenery. Rooftop and podium planting, fountains and water features are being designed to foster a carbon-conscious, nature-integrated environment.

Residents will also enjoy panoramic elevators offering views of canals, landscaped areas and sports courts. Centric planning principles aim to reduce congestion, ensuring seamless mobility within the community.

Strategically located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), Azizi Milan will be well connected to Dubai and neighbouring emirates, with a future Blue Line metro station within walking distance.

Azizi Milan follows the developer’s Riviera project in MBR City and Azizi Venice in Dubai South. Like those projects, Azizi is acting as master developer, managing road networks and general infrastructure.

With the Dulux partnership, Azizi says it is further strengthening the design quality and long-term value of its developments, reinforcing its commitment to delivering sustainable, future-ready communities across Dubai.
