Bacardi reshapes leadership with global talent moves

Bacardi Limited, the world’s largest privately held international spirits company, has announced a series of senior leadership changes designed to strengthen its global strategy and highlight its commitment to developing talent from within.

The company confirmed that Dave Ingram, who joined Bacardi in 2022, has been appointed Chief People & Business Transformation Officer. He will be tasked with shaping the company’s long-term approach to talent management, succession planning, and capability building. Ingram previously served as Chief Supply Chain Officer, where he oversaw Bacardi’s global operations, logistics, and sourcing.

Ingram’s international experience spans Singapore, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Mexico, the UK, and Bermuda, a background that CEO Mahesh Madhavan said reflects the company’s global culture. He will remain based at Bacardi’s Bermuda headquarters, pending immigration approvals.

The move follows the announced retirement of Scott Northcutt, who has led Bacardi’s people organisation for more than 16 years. Northcutt will transition into a new role as Senior Vice President of Family Development Programs, supporting initiatives that reflect Bacardi’s unique structure as a family-owned company.

With Ingram moving into his new role, Nicole Zukowski has been promoted to Chief Supply Chain Officer and joins Bacardi’s Global Leadership Team. Zukowski previously served as Senior Vice President of North America Supply Chain, where she oversaw operations across key facilities, including Bacardi’s premium rum distillery in Puerto Rico and its bourbon production in Kentucky.

Her promotion comes after more than two decades of experience in supply chain roles across global consumer brands, including Nike and L’Oréal. In 2020, she was recognised among the 100 Most Influential Women in Supply Chain by Global Women Supply Chain Leaders. Zukowski will also be based in Bermuda, pending immigration approvals.

Stepping into her former role, Guillermo Donayre has been named Senior Vice President of North America Supply Chain. Donayre, who joined Bacardi in 2023 in Mexico, brings over 30 years of operations and logistics experience across Latin America. He will relocate to Coral Gables, Florida, where Bacardi’s regional office for North America is located. In addition to his new responsibilities, he will continue overseeing PATRÓN tequila and agave production in Mexico.

Meanwhile, Pamela Chanona, Vice President Market Supply Chain for Europe, will expand her responsibilities to cover Latin America and the Caribbean.

“These leaders have consistently demonstrated deep expertise, a strong commitment to our values, and the ability to lead at scale,” CEO Mahesh Madhavan said in a statement. “Their appointments reflect not only their individual accomplishments, but also our belief in growing leadership from within our own teams.”

The company said Ingram’s appointment takes effect immediately, while Zukowski, Donayre, and Chanona will assume their new positions on 1 January 2026.
