Consumer electronics giant Belkin has announced its official entry into the gaming accessories sector, unveiling a new product line designed for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. The move marks a significant expansion for the brand, known for its four-decade legacy in connectivity, power, and device protection.

Launched under Belkin’s Future Ventures innovation division, the new range includes charging cases, screen protectors, and travel gear tailored for on-the-go gaming. The collection reflects the company’s strategy to blend premium design and durable functionality, offering a reliable and stylish gaming experience.

“Gaming is a natural extension of the Belkin brand,” said Steve Malony, CEO of Belkin. “We’re excited to bring Belkin’s trusted accessories into the world of gaming. This portfolio supports the next generation of Nintendo Switch and reflects our commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability.”

What’s in the lineup?

Belkin’s new accessory collection for the Nintendo Switch 2 includes:

  • Charging Case
  • Travel Case
  • TemperedGlass Anti-Reflective Screen Protector
  • TemperedGlass Blue Light Screen Protector

The Charging Case, priced at $69.99 USD, is designed with a built-in 10,000mAh battery pack, enabling extended gameplay while protecting the console. The case comes in Charcoal, Sand, and Green and features durable materials to withstand drops and scratches.

For gamers on the move, Belkin’s Travel Case provides a slim and stylish way to carry and protect the Nintendo Switch 2. Priced at $29.99 USD, it mirrors the charging case in style and durability and is available in the same three colours.

The company is also offering two screen protectors:

  • The Anti-Reflective version reduces glare and protects against scratches.
  • The Blue Light filter version helps reduce eye strain during extended sessions.

Both include installation applicators for a bubble-free fit and are priced between $24.99 and $29.99 USD.

Built for portability and protection

Designed with in-house engineering, the accessories aim to raise the standard for third-party gaming gear. The focus is on reliability, craftsmanship and user experience, according to the brand, with all products now available on Belkin.com and Amazon.com.

This move signals Belkin’s long-term commitment to the gaming space, with further accessories — including audio and charging solutions — expected to follow.

A strategic expansion

As anticipation builds for the release of Nintendo’s next-generation handheld console, Belkin’s early positioning in the accessories market could attract a sizeable share of new Switch users.

With the gaming industry projected to grow to over $300 billion globally by 2030, Belkin’s entry comes at a time of intense competition and innovation.
