Belkin has unveiled a new collection of wireless charging devices certified under the Qi2 25W standard, making it the first consumer electronics company to release products designed for the next generation of wireless power.
The UltraCharge line, announced on Wednesday, includes three products: the UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Dock, the UltraCharge 3-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger, and the UltraCharge 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger. All three are designed to deliver faster, more efficient wireless charging across a range of devices, including iPhones, Apple Watches, AirPods, and Android smartphones.
A new standard in wireless charging
Qi2 is the latest update to the global Qi wireless charging protocol, developed by the Wireless Power Consortium. The 25W standard offers faster charging, enhanced thermal management, and improved compatibility across different devices.
Belkin said its new products support charging speeds up to five times faster than standard Qi chargers. Each device incorporates the company’s new ChillBoost™ cooling technology, which regulates temperatures during charging, and has undergone Belkin’s SmartProtect testing for safety and reliability.
The UltraCharge collection is made from 85% recycled plastic, with plastic-free packaging, as part of the company’s push toward more sustainable design.
