Renowned concept artist and storyteller Ben Mauro has officially released his highly anticipated sci-fi graphic novel series HUXLEY worldwide. Known for his work on blockbuster franchises such as Halo Infinite, Call of Duty, and Elysium, Mauro now turns his creative talents to an original universe of his own design.
HUXLEY, set in the post-apocalyptic world of FURY-7, follows Max, a seasoned Ronin warrior, and his companions as they journey across a ravaged landscape ruled by ancient machines and rogue artificial intelligences. The narrative combines high-concept world-building with philosophical undertones, drawing comparisons to classics like Dune, Ghost in the Shell, and Warhammer 40K.
The graphic novel is now available in both hardcover and softcover editions through major global retailers, including Amazon, Thames & Hudson, and independent bookstores. The hardcover edition is being distributed by VOL, Mauro’s creative platform, while the softcover version is available through traditional publishing channels.
Alongside the book launch, Mauro also unveiled a trailer for an upcoming prequel installment, HUXLEY: The Oracle, which is scheduled for release in October 2025. The prequel will explore the origins of the saga, delving into the rise of the Oracles—enigmatic AI rulers—and the early days of the devastating wars that shaped the current world.

“HUXLEY is the universe I’ve always dreamed of creating,” Mauro said. “It’s a homage to the science fiction, art, and animation that shaped me as a young artist, now reimagined for a new generation of readers.”
Beyond the printed page, Mauro is pursuing a transmedia vision for HUXLEY, with plans for expansion into video games, animation, and digital collectibles. The HUXLEY cinematic teaser has already amassed over 3.6 million views on YouTube, pointing to a growing global fanbase for the new franchise.
The launch of HUXLEY comes at a time when independent creators are increasingly leveraging multimedia tools to build immersive universes outside traditional studio systems. Mauro, whose career spans both concept art and narrative development, is seen as a leading figure in this new wave of creator-driven world-building.
With its bold visuals, thought-provoking themes, and epic scale, HUXLEY aims to carve out its place among the science fiction greats.
