Cadillac Middle East has unveiled the refreshed CT5 line-up, including the high-performance CT5-V and flagship CT5-V Blackwing, alongside the brand’s all-electric LYRIQ SUV, marking a major step in its regional strategy.
The twin launch blends the brand’s performance heritage with its electric future, offering customers a wider range of powertrain options without compromising on Cadillac’s hallmark luxury and design.
Refined performance
The updated CT5 features a redesigned front fascia, Cadillac’s signature vertical lighting, and a sweeping 33-inch LED display inside. The CT5-V delivers 360 horsepower from a 3.0L twin-turbo V6, while the handcrafted CT5-V Blackwing boasts 668 horsepower from a 6.2L supercharged V8 – making it Cadillac’s most powerful production sedan to date. Both models include magnetic ride control, Brembo brakes, and optional carbon-fibre packages for sharper handling.
Electric elegance
Debuting in the Middle East as Cadillac’s second electric SUV, the LYRIQ offers dual-motor all-wheel drive, producing 515 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. It has an estimated range of 463 km on a full charge and supports DC fast charging at up to 150 kW, adding up to 130 km of range in just 15 minutes.
To ease charging at home, Cadillac includes a complimentary 22 kW Level 2 wall-box charger with every LYRIQ, alongside a portable dual-voltage cable for both Level 1 and Level 2 charging.
Technology and comfort
Inside, the LYRIQ mirrors Cadillac’s push toward a connected, premium driving experience. A curved 33-inch 9K LED display integrates infotainment in a single panoramic interface, supported by Google built-in for navigation, entertainment, and voice assistance. Other features include a 19-speaker AKG Studio sound system, 126-colour ambient lighting, and next-generation Active Noise Cancellation.
The myCadillac app provides remote vehicle commands, charging management, and real-time diagnostics, while in-car Wi-Fi adds further connectivity.
Safety commitment
Both the CT5 and LYRIQ come with a suite of safety and driver-assistance technologies, such as Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning.
A Cadillac spokesperson said the new launches reflected the brand’s “commitment to innovation, performance, and craftsmanship” in the region, adding that the combination of electric mobility and high-powered combustion models would appeal to a diverse customer base.
The introduction of the LYRIQ in the Middle East aligns with a global industry shift toward electrification, while the refreshed CT5 range reinforces Cadillac’s performance credentials. Analysts suggest the dual approach could help the brand bridge the transition between petrol and electric power in a region where EV adoption is still emerging but gaining momentum.
With both models now available, Cadillac Middle East aims to strengthen its presence in the premium automotive market, offering drivers what it describes as “power, presence, and precision” for the modern age.
