dnata, one of the world’s leading air and travel service providers, has secured a multi-year agreement to deliver inflight catering services to Etihad Airways at Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Jordan. Under the new contract, dnata will cater to the UAE national carrier’s 14 weekly flights between Amman and Abu Dhabi, producing and uplifting more than 90,000 meals annually.

The partnership marks a significant milestone for dnata’s growing operations in Jordan, as it continues to support global carriers with high-quality catering solutions. The meals will be prepared by dnata’s experienced culinary teams and tailored to meet Etihad’s renowned premium service standards.

Dana Kamal Adwan, CEO of dnata Catering & Retail Jordan, expressed pride in the collaboration: “Etihad Airways is renowned for its high service standards, and we’re proud to be selected as their catering partner of choice. This contract is a strong endorsement of our team’s culinary ambition, operational excellence, and ability to deliver at scale, day after day.”

She added that dnata will work closely with Etihad to create menus that blend bold, locally inspired flavours with premium-cabin refinement, enhancing the overall passenger experience.

In Jordan, dnata currently supports more than 30 international airlines with a workforce of over 400 catering professionals. In the 2024–25 financial year alone, the company uplifted over 4.5 million meals across more than 24,000 flights departing from AMM.

Globally, dnata’s catering and retail division operates at over 60 locations and is staffed by 10,400 culinary specialists. The division is responsible for producing over 110 million meals annually, serving a broad mix of full-service, low-cost, and VIP carriers.

The deal with Etihad further strengthens dnata’s reputation as a reliable partner in inflight hospitality and reflects its commitment to delivering consistent quality and innovation in a highly competitive sector.

With this latest contract win, dnata continues to play a key role in elevating passenger dining experiences through trusted partnerships with leading global airlines.
