Dubai South, the city’s largest single-urban master development focused on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has officially been certified as a Great Place to Work®, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s efforts to create a thriving, people-centric workplace.

The internationally recognised Great Place to Work® certification is awarded based on rigorous assessments of employee experience and organisational culture. It underscores Dubai South’s commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment where employees are supported both professionally and personally.

His Excellency Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, welcomed the accolade, saying:

“We are proud to receive the Great Place to Work® certification, which reflects our dedication to nurturing a workplace where our people feel valued, motivated, and empowered. A strong, people-centric culture is the foundation of our success and aligns with our government’s vision for promoting well-being and work-life balance across the UAE.”

The recognition highlights Dubai South’s continuous focus on employee engagement, well-being, and development as it plays a growing role in Dubai’s broader economic ecosystem.

Hafsa AlGargawi, Chief People Management Officer at Dubai South, added:

“This certification reflects the incredible team we have built. It confirms our ongoing commitment to nurturing an environment where every employee feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow.”

Dubai South’s efforts include policies and programmes aimed at empowering staff, encouraging collaboration, and investing in professional development. The certification places the company among a global network of workplaces recognised for excellence in leadership, trust, and inclusivity.

As Dubai South continues to expand its footprint, the achievement further strengthens its position as a forward-thinking employer within Dubai’s dynamic business landscape.

Spanning 145 square kilometres, Dubai South is home to a fully integrated aviation and logistics ecosystem centred around Al Maktoum International Airport, which will become the world’s largest airport when fully operational. The development is supported by a multi-modal transport network connecting air, land, and sea, making it a strategic hub for business and trade.

In addition to its economic ambitions, Dubai South is also focused on creating vibrant residential and business communities, offering integrated real estate solutions backed by world-class infrastructure.

The Great Place to Work® certification comes as Dubai continues to position itself as a global model for quality of life, economic competitiveness, and workplace innovation. Through this recognition, Dubai South not only sets a benchmark for others in the industry but also reinforces its role in shaping the future of work in the region.
