Following the sellout success of its 2023 debut, Emirates has unveiled a second limited-edition Aircrafted by Emirates collection—offering aviation enthusiasts and style-savvy travellers a rare chance to own luggage and accessories made from actual aircraft interiors.
Now available through the Emirates Official Store, the 2025 collection features 167 handmade pieces created from upcycled materials taken from retired Emirates Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. Prices range between USD 80 and USD 350. The proceeds from this collection—like its predecessor—will largely benefit children’s charities via the Emirates Airline Foundation.
The latest line includes three new trolley bag styles, two fashion-forward backpacks, and two handbags, one of which is uniquely crafted using the sheepskin fur from an Emirates Captain’s seat. The bags are not only a nod to aviation heritage but also a showcase of craftsmanship, sustainability, and charity combined.
“Every item in this collection is a tangible piece of Emirates’ aviation history,” said a company spokesperson. “What makes it more meaningful is that each purchase also supports children in need.”
Emirates’ in-house team of 14 trained ‘tailors’—formally known as Engineering Maintenance Assistants—meticulously handcrafted the bags at a dedicated cabin workshop within Emirates Engineering in Dubai. These professionals, who typically repair wear and tear in aircraft interiors, are now devoted full-time to this project, following the global response to the first Aircrafted collection and the recently launched Aircrafted KIDS range.
The raw materials for the collection were sourced from over 63 aircraft that have undergone upgrades as part of Emirates’ Retrofit Project. More than 30,000 kg of materials have already been repurposed—ranging from aluminium headrests and leather seats from First and Business Class, to plush sofas from the A380’s iconic onboard lounge.
All items go through an intensive cleansing and restoration process. Fabrics are professionally laundered and deep cleaned, leather is conditioned by hand, and new linings and functional zippers are installed. Some bags even feature original Emirates seatbelts repurposed as bag straps.
The Emirates Retrofit Project, which began in August 2022, aims to refurbish 219 aircraft, making it the largest fleet retrofit effort in aviation history. Managed entirely by Emirates’ internal engineering team, the project will see over 4,000 Premium Economy seats, 728 First Class suites, and 5,000 Business Class seats either installed or upgraded by its conclusion.
As interest in aviation collectibles continues to grow, the new Aircrafted by Emirates 2025 Collection is expected to sell out within days—especially among collectors and frequent flyers seeking items with both sentimental and sustainable value.
Shoppers can purchase the collection via Emirates Official Store while stocks last.
