Emirates and Uber have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance travel experiences through digital integration and loyalty benefits, in a bid to provide more seamless and connected journeys for passengers across the Emirates global network.

The agreement was inked by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Anabel Diaz Calderon, Vice President and Head of EMEA Mobility at Uber, marking the start of a wide-ranging collaboration.

The partnership aims to deliver several travel-focused solutions including an integrated booking experience, where Emirates customers can combine Uber ride vouchers with flight bookings, streamlining airport transfers and in-city transportation.

Additionally, select Emirates customers may be offered complimentary or discounted Uber rides to and from airports, building a comprehensive door-to-destination experience.

Skywards Loyalty Perks on the Horizon

A central aspect of the collaboration is the integration of Emirates’ loyalty programme, Skywards, with the Uber platform. Both companies will explore ways to allow members in the UAE and other select markets to earn Skywards Miles on Uber rides or redeem them for Uber credits, making everyday travel more rewarding.

Beyond passenger convenience, the agreement also opens avenues for last-mile delivery innovations. Emirates Courier Express will evaluate Uber’s delivery platform to enhance service speed, coverage, and efficiency, particularly in the UAE.

Adnan Kazim commented,

“Emirates is excited to join forces with Uber as part of our commitment to delivering seamless travel experiences. We’ll leverage our capabilities in travel and technology to expand planning options and introduce new Skywards benefits.”

Anabel Diaz Calderon added,

“We’re thrilled to partner with Emirates to shape the future of travel. With tailored Uber airport rides and loyalty perks, this collaboration redefines travel for millions of customers.”

Next Steps and Future Rollout

The two brands will also co-launch marketing campaigns across Emirates’ global network to promote the rollout of new services and loyalty features, tapping into Uber’s growing presence in key international markets.

This strategic collaboration brings together two global giants—Emirates in aviation and Uber in mobility—to bridge the gap between air and ground travel, offering customers an end-to-end experience built around convenience, technology, and rewards.
