Etihad Airways has launched a week-long showcase at Abu Dhabi’s Galleria Mall, unveiling the all-new A321LR aircraft and offering exclusive discounts of up to 40% on flights to six new destinations.

The activation, which runs from 3 to 9 September, allows visitors to step inside the airline’s latest aircraft cabins and experience first-hand the luxury and comfort set to define Etihad’s expanding route network. The event is open daily from 10am to 10pm on weekdays and until midnight on weekends.

New aircraft, new destinations

The A321LR will serve new routes including Chiang Mai and Krabi in Thailand, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, Medan in Indonesia, as well as Tunis and Algiers in North Africa. Fares start at 1,645 AED, available only for bookings made at the Galleria Mall stand.

Javier Alija, Etihad’s Vice President of Global Sales and Distribution, said the showcase was designed to give the local community a glimpse of the future of air travel.

“We’re excited to showcase the new A321LR flying experience to the Abu Dhabi community, and highlight the many new destinations you can soon explore,” he said. “Exclusively for the local community, we have extended incredible discounts of up to 40% for bookings made with us at the Etihad stand in Galleria Mall.”

Premium in-flight experience

The A321LR features Etihad’s new First Suites, complete with privacy doors, companion seating and luxury linens. Business Class travellers will find lie-flat seats designed with Armani/Casa soft furnishings, while Economy passengers can experience next-generation seats equipped with 4K touchscreens.

Visitors to the mall can test these seats for themselves, bringing the Etihad in-flight experience directly to Abu Dhabi shoppers.

Family activities and giveaways

The showcase also includes family-friendly attractions such as an interactive photobooth featuring Etihad’s new destinations, an AI booth that digitally transforms children into future pilots and cabin crew, and creative arts and crafts sessions.

Throughout the week, Etihad will host giveaways and raffle prizes. Etihad Guest members booking flights at the stand will be entered into an exclusive draw to win two return First Class tickets to one of the six new A321LR destinations. New customers can also sign up for Etihad Guest on-site to participate.

Expanding global network

The A321LR is central to Etihad’s ambitious expansion plans. The airline is set to launch 13 new routes by the end of the year, bringing its global network close to 90 destinations.

From the Mediterranean charm of Algiers to the cultural heart of Chiang Mai, Etihad says the new destinations reflect a growing demand for diverse travel experiences.

For visitors at Galleria Mall, the showcase offers not only the chance to discover these new horizons but also the rare opportunity to secure discounted fares and a first look at the aircraft that will soon take them there.
