Four Seasons Maldives Unveils New Beach Villas

The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa has unveiled its newly transformed Beach Villas with Pool, marking a significant upgrade in design, space, and guest experience. Replacing the former Beach Bungalows, these fresh beachfront retreats now offer twice as much outdoor space, a larger pool, and a light, breezy design inspired by the colours of the sea and sun.

Designed with couples, honeymooners, and young families in mind, each Beach Villa offers uninterrupted ocean and lagoon views, alongside a tranquil layout that blends indoor and outdoor living. Accommodating up to three adults or two adults and two children (under 12), the villas now span 70 m² indoors and a generous 285 m² outdoors.

Didier Jardin, General Manager of the resort, described the redesign as the final stage of a broader regeneration project.

“Kuda Huraa has long been a haven for those seeking an intimate Maldivian home-from-home,” said Jardin. “But we recognised the limitations of our bungalows in terms of layout, light and space. Our first-ever Beach Villas embody the spirit of the island, where comfort, care, and the magic of the Maldives come together in a seamless flow.”

Key Highlights of the New Beach Villas:

  • Fresh Coastal Aesthetic: The dark wood interiors of the past have been replaced by a palette of teal, turquoise, and tangerine, reflecting the island’s natural beauty.
  • Enhanced Layout: A light-filled ensuite bedroom now features a study and dining area with a window-side daybed, while a reimagined walk-in closet allows easy access to the villa’s spacious bathroom. Some villas include dedicated family rooms.
  • Upgraded Outdoor Living: The plunge pool has grown into a 36 m² pool, framed by ocean views. A custom-designed pergola and swing adds a playful, Instagram-worthy touch, ideal for lounging or dining in the open air.
  • Elevated Design Details: Interior highlights include designer pieces such as the B&B Italia armchair, as well as curved architectural features, textured materials, and organic forms that echo the island’s surroundings.

Guests staying in the Beach Villas also receive complimentary extras, such as daily fresh fruit, Kuda Spring water, in-room coffee and tea, and beach essentials for children under 12. Housekeeping is provided twice daily, including a turndown service.

To further enhance the island escape, the Bed & Breakfast package includes a lavish daily breakfast at Café Huraa for two guests per room — or four in family villas. The package is available for stays until December 20, 2026, subject to availability.

With their spacious layout, thoughtful design, and luxurious features, the new Beach Villas with Pool at Four Seasons Kuda Huraa aim to offer a refreshed take on barefoot luxury — one that seamlessly blends Maldivian charm with modern comfort.
