Jumbo Electronics revamps two UAE flagship stores

Jumbo Electronics, one of the UAE’s leading electronics and home appliance retailers, has relaunched two of its flagship showrooms at City Centre Deira in Dubai and City Centre Sharjah.

The newly designed stores, now open to the public, feature modernised layouts, enhanced visibility and updated product sections, which the retailer says will deliver a more engaging and rewarding shopping experience.

The relaunch comes as Jumbo looks to strengthen its position as a trusted technology destination in the Emirates. With monthly footfall already reaching 22,000 at City Centre Deira and 9,000 at City Centre Sharjah, the company is projecting double-digit growth in the months ahead.

City Centre Sharjah upgrade

The City Centre Sharjah store has undergone a complete refurbishment. The number of floor stands has doubled from six to twelve, providing more room for product displays and brand showcases. The telecom, IT and accessories sections have been expanded, with new digital communication screens and lighting features to create what Jumbo calls a “more immersive” shopping environment.

A dedicated stand for smartphone brand Honor has also been introduced, strengthening the retailer’s telecom portfolio.

City Centre Deira transformation

At City Centre Deira, the refreshed showroom highlights an expanded focus on small domestic appliances and audio-visual products. New additions include appliances from Dyson, Dreame, Moser, Tymo, Beurer and Wahl, alongside a broad selection of televisions from Samsung, Sony, LG, Hisense and TCL.

The store’s layout has also been redesigned, with floor stands more than doubling from fifteen to thirty-two. Each brand now has its own dedicated display rather than shared stands. Jumbo has also installed digital screens across the space to provide dynamic communication and create a more contemporary shopping atmosphere.

Launch offers and promotions

To mark the relaunch, Jumbo is offering customers assured gifts with purchases until 31 August at City Centre Sharjah and 3 September at City Centre Deira.

Shoppers spending between AED 2,000 and AED 3,999 will receive Hyphen wireless earbuds, while purchases of AED 4,000 or more will come with Sony WF-C500 wireless earbuds.

The retailer has also partnered with Emirates NBD and Sharjah Islamic Bank to provide additional benefits, including discounts on purchases above certain thresholds and extended easy payment plan options. Lifestyle tie-ups further extend the appeal, with discounts on travel bookings, jewellery and watches.

Customer focus

A Jumbo Electronics spokesperson said the relaunch aimed to meet the changing expectations of customers.

“Our customers have trusted Jumbo for decades, and these revamped showrooms are designed to meet the evolving expectations of today’s tech-savvy shoppers,” the spokesperson said. “With brighter layouts, dedicated brand zones and new digital features, we’re creating an environment where customers can explore, compare and experience technology in a way that is both convenient and inspiring.”

The upgrades, combined with promotional offers and partnerships, mark what the company described as the “next chapter” in its retail journey across the UAE.
