Kempinski Launches Double DISCOVERY Dollar Promotion

Kempinski Hotels, a founding member of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), has announced a limited-time Double DISCOVERY Dollar Promotion for members of its loyalty programme, KEMPINSKI DISCOVERY. The offer, valid from 1 August to 30 September 2025, allows both existing and new members to earn double the usual rewards on all eligible direct bookings across its global portfolio.

The promotion is part of the broader GHA DISCOVERY programme, which spans more than 850 hotels in over 100 countries and includes 45 prestigious brands. It offers travellers the opportunity to enhance their stays with additional rewards for indulgent experiences such as luxury dining, spa treatments, and immersive local activities.

“Meaningful hospitality begins with understanding what makes each guest unique,” said Yannick Brandner, Director Corporate Loyalty at Kempinski Hotels. “Our loyalty philosophy is simple: recognise individuality, reward curiosity, and inspire new journeys. This year’s Double DISCOVERY Dollar promotion gives our members even more to look forward to.”

Under the promotion, members will earn up to 14% back in DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) on eligible spending. D$ are cash-equivalent rewards—1 D$ equals 1 USD—that can be redeemed across Kempinski properties and the wider GHA DISCOVERY network for room upgrades, spa services, dining, and other curated experiences.

Unlike traditional points-based systems, GHA DISCOVERY offers a more transparent and flexible approach. Members gain access to a range of unique perks and can achieve elite status through various pathways tailored to their travel preferences. The programme is designed to adapt to different lifestyles, making it easier for both frequent and occasional travellers to benefit.

To qualify for the promotion, members must opt in via the campaign page on kempinski.com or through the Kempinski Hotels mobile app. Bookings must be made directly through Kempinski channels between 1 August and 30 September 2025, and stays must also be completed by the end of that period.

DISCOVERY Dollars earned through this promotion will remain valid for six months from the date of issuance, offering members the flexibility to plan and enjoy future experiences at their convenience.

The campaign reflects Kempinski’s broader efforts to personalise the travel experience while rewarding guest loyalty in a meaningful way. With properties ranging from grand city hotels to serene beachside retreats, Kempinski aims to connect guests with authentic luxury and bespoke service.

As travel continues to recover and evolve, promotions like Double DISCOVERY Dollars highlight how brands are innovating loyalty programmes to engage travellers and create added value beyond the stay.
