Lenovo has unveiled its broadest portfolio of AI-powered innovations yet at Innovation World 2025, highlighting new hardware and services designed to bring generative AI into everyday life and work.
The new lineup includes high-performance PCs, creator-focused tablets, immersive gaming devices, and Motorola smartphones. The company framed the announcement under its vision of Smarter AI for All, emphasising accessibility, hyper-personalisation, and practical AI experiences across consumer and enterprise markets.
“From adaptive form factors and AI-ready workstations to handheld gaming, creator tablets, and moto ai-enabled smartphones, Lenovo is continuing to redefine what technology can do for people and businesses in the AI era,” said Luca Rossi, President of Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group.
“This isn’t about future potential, it’s about delivering real, everyday AI experiences now for hyper-personalisation, productivity, creativity, and data protection.”
AI for business and productivity
A major theme of the showcase was how AI can accelerate productivity for professional users. Lenovo presented new concept designs including the ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept, featuring a rotatable 14-inch screen and AI-adaptive user interface, and the Lenovo Smart Motion Concept, a multi-directional laptop stand with gesture and voice control as well as health-focused ergonomics.
The company also expanded its commercial workstation lineup with AI-ready machines. These include the redesigned ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 and updated versions of the ThinkPad P1 Gen 8, P16v Gen 3, P16s i Gen 4, and P14s i Gen 6. Configurable for high-performance options, these mobile workstations are built for AI development and resource-intensive creative workflows.
In a design update, Lenovo introduced a Glacier White edition of its AI-enhanced ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition, one of the company’s Copilot+ PCs, available in limited 14- and 15-inch formats.
Displays and connectivity
To support multitasking, Lenovo launched the ThinkVision P40WD-40, a 39.7-inch curved ultrawide monitor with 5K resolution and Thunderbolt 4 one-cable docking. It is designed with energy efficiency in mind, helping to reduce power consumption in commercial settings.
The refreshed ThinkPad Smart Dock range includes the Thunderbolt 5 Smart Dock 7500, capable of supporting up to four high-refresh-rate displays with cloud-based device management. Meanwhile, the Magic Bay HUD for ThinkBook—first seen as the Tiko Pro concept—will soon be available in select markets.
AI services
Lenovo also used the event to highlight its services-led approach to AI deployment. Its AI Fast Start services programme, powered by Intel’s AI Assistant Builder, is being piloted to help customers develop on-device AI assistants. The pilot aims to provide tailored, privacy-first AI solutions for industries such as publishing, healthcare, and finance.
Analysts suggest the announcements underline Lenovo’s ambition to become a leader in generative AI hardware and services, while also keeping pace with competitors such as Dell, HP, and Apple in shaping the AI PC market.
With Innovation World 2025, Lenovo appears to be betting on a future where AI integration is not an optional upgrade, but the standard expectation for both businesses and consumers.
