LG Unveils AI Appliances Orchestra at IFA 2025

LG Electronics has unveiled a bold new vision for smart living at IFA Berlin 2025, presenting its AI Appliances Orchestra — a cohesive, AI-powered ecosystem designed to transform homes into intelligent, responsive environments. This announcement positions LG at the forefront of the next wave in AI-integrated living spaces.

At the centre of this concept is LG’s AI Home Solution, brought to life by the intuitive ThinQ ON smart hub, which acts as the central “conductor” for a growing symphony of connected appliances.

Harmony Through Technology

The AI Appliances Orchestra aims to bring harmony to everyday routines by enabling all LG devices — from ovens and washing machines to air conditioners and refrigerators — to work together in perfect synchronicity.

Imagine a home that anticipates your needs:

  • Adjusting lighting and temperature based on your preferences
  • Preheating your oven before you arrive home
  • Offering wellness recommendations based on your schedule
  • Performing predictive maintenance to avoid disruptions

This “orchestration” is made possible by LG’s advanced ThinQ UP and ThinQ Care platforms.

AI that Evolves with You

ThinQ UP ensures that LG appliances evolve continuously, receiving software updates that add new features and extend their usability — a key step in making hardware more sustainable and future-proof.

Meanwhile, ThinQ Care functions like a virtual appliance assistant, offering:

  • Predictive diagnostics to flag potential issues
  • Proactive maintenance alerts to prevent breakdowns
  • Autonomous troubleshooting to reduce service calls

Together, they create a living ecosystem that not only enhances convenience but also extends product lifespans and reduces environmental impact.

A Focus on Sustainability and Personalisation

A standout example of this innovation is LG’s AI Wash & Dry, which uses intelligent sensing to optimise water and energy usage while adapting to user habits. Similarly, LG’s latest smart refrigerators adjust compressor operation dynamically to maintain optimal freshness with maximum efficiency — aligning with increasing consumer demand, especially in regions like the Gulf, for eco-conscious innovation.

“We believe the home of the future is not just connected — it’s collaborative,” said an LG spokesperson at IFA. “With the AI Appliances Orchestra, we’re enabling each appliance to play its part in creating a seamless, personalised and sustainable living experience.”

Looking Ahead

LG’s latest showcase reflects a broader shift in the smart home industry: moving from isolated device functionality toward fully integrated, AI-driven environments. By unifying the intelligence of its appliances through the ThinQ ON smart hub, LG offers a vision of invisible innovation — where smart living blends effortlessly into daily life.

Visitors to IFA Berlin 2025 can experience the AI Appliances Orchestra first-hand and explore how LG is redefining smart living for the next generation.
