LG Electronics (LG) has reinforced its commitment to the United Arab Emirates’ professional community with the continued development of its LG MEA Hub Academy in Jebel Ali, Dubai — one of the largest HVAC training centres in the region.

The facility provides hands-on technical training to contractors, facility managers, and HVAC specialists, covering installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. LG says the initiative aims to improve after-sales service quality and ensure optimal performance for customers’ heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Bridging Technology and Application

The LG MEA Hub Academy is designed to equip professionals with practical skills that link advanced HVAC technologies with real-world applications. The centre features a fully equipped HVAC showroom, a TMS control room for real-time system monitoring, and a dedicated practice room for live training.

Training covers areas such as Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, Direct Expansion (DX) units, control solutions, air purification technologies, and both hot and cold water solutions.

Michael (Yong Joon) Park, LG ES Vice President for the Middle East and Africa, described the Academy as part of the company’s long-term strategy for industry support.

“Our MEA Hub Academy in Dubai reflects LG’s strong commitment to supporting HVAC industry professionals with the right tools, skills, and knowledge to thrive,” he said. “We believe that empowering people through technical education is the foundation of long-term success — for our partners, customers, and communities.”

Pre- and Post-Sales Focus

LG’s training programmes are tailored to address the needs of both pre-sales and post-sales support. By strengthening capabilities across the product lifecycle, the company says it can help participants deliver high-quality service from installation through to long-term maintenance.

This focus on after-sales excellence, LG notes, ensures that customers benefit from reliable, efficient, and durable HVAC systems while reinforcing the brand’s standing as a trusted industry partner.

Meeting Growing Market Demand

The UAE’s rapid pace of infrastructure development is driving demand for skilled HVAC professionals. LG’s MEA Hub Academy aims to address this skills gap by training a new generation of experts able to manage increasingly complex climate control systems.

The programme also supports the wider regional goal of developing sustainable industries by promoting best practices in energy efficiency and system performance.

Sustaining Industry Growth

Through its investment in professional training and education, LG says it is not only enhancing its customer service network but also contributing to the long-term growth and sustainability of the HVAC sector in the Middle East.

By offering a structured platform for knowledge sharing and hands-on learning, the LG MEA Hub Academy seeks to prepare industry professionals to adapt to evolving technologies and meet the challenges of tomorrow’s built environments.

The initiative forms part of LG’s broader vision to strengthen local expertise, foster innovation, and maintain high standards across its regional operations.
