LG Electronics has officially launched its UltraGear™ 45GX OLED Gaming Monitor across the Middle East, promising an unmatched immersive experience for serious gamers. The flagship model arrives fresh from winning multiple CES 2025 Innovation Awards, including the coveted Best of Innovation award.

Touted as one of the most advanced gaming displays on the market, the 45-inch 45GX monitor features an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio and a stunning 5K2K resolution (5,120 x 2,160) – the highest in its OLED category. Designed specifically for competitive and immersive gameplay, the display offers dramatically expanded screen space, detail clarity, and color fidelity.

At the heart of the 45GX is LG’s next-gen WOLED technology, delivering deep blacks, brilliant colors, and high brightness levels. Combined with an 800R curved panel, users are fully enveloped in their gaming worlds, whether racing through futuristic cities or navigating cinematic fantasy landscapes.

To protect gamers during extended sessions, the monitor comes with low blue light certification, along with an Anti-Glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) coating, ensuring optimal visibility even under bright ambient lighting.

“This is a monitor that meets the demands of next-gen gamers—not just in specs, but in how it feels to play,” said an LG spokesperson. “With cutting-edge resolution, G-SYNC® and FreeSync™ support, and true OLED visuals, it’s designed to deliver a whole new level of immersion.”

Additional features include a virtually borderless four-side design, which heightens the sense of visual continuity, and Dual-Mode functionality with eight customizable layouts for multitasking or productivity.

Gamers will also appreciate the monitor’s high pixel density (125 PPI) and RGWB subpixel layout, which improve text clarity for in-game interfaces and document work. Connectivity is future-proofed with DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C (90W Power Delivery)—making it fully compatible with high-performance GPUs and devices.

The 45GX950A’s support for NVIDIA G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro virtually eliminates screen tearing, while delivering fluid and responsive performance for high-refresh-rate gaming.

With this launch, LG cements its place at the forefront of gaming monitor innovation, combining technological muscle with gamer-centric design.
