LG Electronics has officially introduced its latest gaming innovation, the UltraGear™ GX9 series, to the Gulf region, highlighted by the LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor (model 45GX950A). This marks the regional debut of LG’s next-generation OLED display technology in the gaming sector, aligning with the Gulf’s rapidly expanding gaming ecosystem.

The 45GX950A enters a market witnessing unprecedented growth, driven by competitive esports tournaments, tech-forward gaming cafes, and a passionate player base. With a curved OLED display and cutting-edge performance features, the new monitor aims to set a benchmark for immersive gameplay and professional-level responsiveness.

Game-Changing Display Performance

At the heart of the 45GX950A is a 45-inch curved OLED panel with an aggressive 800R curvature, creating a wraparound visual experience tailored to first-person shooters, open-world RPGs, and high-speed racing simulators. The display boasts a sharp 5K2K resolution (5120 x 2160) and a cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio, offering players expansive views and immersive depth.

Powered by self-lit pixel technology, the OLED panel delivers intense contrast, deep blacks, and vibrant colors. Gamers can enjoy fast-paced titles without sacrificing visual fidelity or comfort, thanks to low blue light certification and LG’s Anti-Glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) coating—designed for optimal visibility in brightly lit environments.

Built for Flexibility and Speed

Modern gamers demand flexibility, and the 45GX950A delivers with LG’s second-generation Dual-Mode feature, allowing instant toggling between screen sizes (39″, 34″, or 27″) and aspect ratios (21:9 or 16:9). This means players can tailor their visual setup based on gameplay style, whether for casual sessions or competitive esports.

Connectivity is equally advanced, with DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power delivery, ensuring compatibility with high-end gaming rigs and convenient device charging. The monitor also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro, ensuring smooth, tear-free graphics—crucial for competitive performance.

Beyond Gaming: A Powerhouse for Productivity

While built for gaming, the 45GX950A also serves professionals and creatives. With 125 PPI density and a detailed RGWB subpixel layout, the monitor delivers crisp text and accurate visuals, making it suitable for content creation, editing, and multitasking.

Its ultra-wide canvas enables efficient workspace management, letting users run multiple windows or creative apps simultaneously. This duality makes the monitor equally appealing to gamers, streamers, and digital professionals.

Boosting the Gulf’s Gaming Landscape

As the Gulf region cements its role as a key player in the global gaming industry, LG is reinforcing its commitment to the local community. With its sleek, 4-side virtually borderless design, ergonomic engineering, and future-proof features, the 45GX950A is positioned to become a preferred display for serious gamers across the region.

Retailing at AED 7,199, the LG UltraGear 45GX950A is now available at major electronics stores and online platforms across the Gulf.
