Moscow Hosts Youth-Focused “2030” Innovation Forum

Moscow is preparing to welcome thousands of youth and families to a unique, citywide event — Forum Moscow 2030. Territory of the Future — designed to showcase the technologies, creativity, and lifestyles shaping the decades ahead. Running from August 1 to September 14, the forum spans 11 landmark venues and features a rich mix of interactive experiences across science, culture, sports, and digital innovation.

Targeted at young people from around the world, including a growing base of visitors from the UAE and broader Middle East, the forum reflects Moscow’s ambition to present itself as a modern, future-ready metropolis.

“Moscow is rapidly evolving into one of the world’s most dynamic urban destinations — a city where tradition meets technology, and where youth are at the heart of innovation,” said Anastasia Popova, Head of Business Tourism Development at the Moscow City Tourism Committee. “We warmly welcome young people from the UAE and the Middle East to discover Moscow not only as a place of history, but as a city of the future.”

A Festival of Future Living

Across the six-week celebration, guests will have the opportunity to try their hand at robotics, interact with scientists, play phygital sports, and take part in immersive history and transport-themed experiences — all while enjoying the city’s parks, universities, and public spaces.

Key highlights include:

Bauman Moscow State Technical University
Hosting the “Cloud Cities” tech festival from August 14 to September 14, this leading engineering university offers hands-on labs in game design, neuro-mechanics, urban quantum systems, and more — guided by industry professionals and academics.

Muzeon Park of Arts
Here, young minds can join startup pitch sessions, digital city-building games, and economic simulations, in an open-air setting led by tech entrepreneurs and influencers.

Zaryadye Park
The “Cultural City” program merges the classical with the cutting-edge, including digital theatre, fashion showcases, orchestral music, and financial literacy labs designed for teenagers and young adults.

Luzhniki Stadium
The city’s premier sports complex transforms into an experimental play zone featuring traditional and hybrid sports, environmental quests, and interactive carnival-style zones.

Moskino Film Complex
A futuristic cultural hub titled Portal 2030–2050 will host digital art shows, electronic music festivals, culinary experiments, and a major K-pop stage. The line-up includes global artists from 12 countries, a dance championship, and orchestral multimedia experiences tailored to Gen Z.

A Global Invitation

As Moscow’s tourism profile grows among younger international travellers, especially from the Middle East, the Moscow 2030 forum positions the city as both an historic capital and a living laboratory of the future. The event is part of a broader vision to blend tradition with global innovation, offering families and youth an enriching, memorable journey through the Moscow of tomorrow.
