The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB), in collaboration with Mastercard, has unveiled a new initiative offering complimentary Privilee memberships to its Mastercard World Elite Exclusive credit cardholders. The move positions NBB as the first bank in Bahrain to provide this premium lifestyle and wellness benefit to its clientele.

Privilee, a widely acclaimed lifestyle platform in the region, grants members unlimited access to five-star resort pools, private beaches, and cutting-edge gyms. In addition, users benefit from exclusive offers at top-tier spas and restaurants, along with family-friendly access to children’s clubs. The experience is made seamless with complimentary valet parking at most participating venues.

Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani, Chief Executive – Retail Banking at NBB, praised the partnership, saying, “Our World Elite Exclusive Credit Card is a key to an elevated lifestyle, and we are pleased to be the first bank in Bahrain to introduce complimentary annual Privilee memberships. This initiative underscores our unwavering commitment to a client-first approach that seeks to enrich every moment with a wealth of experiences and privileges.”

Cardholders will be granted access to Privilee through the platform’s mobile app and concierge service. They can use the app to explore participating venues, manage bookings, and track their visits in real time.

Participating venues include some of Bahrain’s most prestigious hotels and luxury resorts, offering access to private facilities that cater to both wellness and leisure needs. Cardholders also receive 15–20% discounts on fine dining across selected high-end restaurants.

Beyond wellness and dining, the Privilee membership integrates lifestyle convenience through dedicated app support, allowing users to personalize their experiences. The partnership also includes access to elite gym classes, boutique fitness studios, and holistic health services—tailored for customers who value premium living.

This latest offering is part of NBB’s broader strategy to enhance client engagement through exclusive propositions that match evolving customer aspirations. The bank continues to diversify its high-end benefits portfolio, targeting affluent and lifestyle-driven clients with curated solutions that go beyond banking.

The launch underscores the growing role of lifestyle partnerships in the financial services sector, where banks are increasingly bundling wellness and luxury access with elite banking products to differentiate their offerings.

NBB’s World Elite Exclusive card is already known for its global travel, concierge, and protection benefits. The addition of Privilee adds a new dimension of value, especially for clients seeking local luxury experiences without the need for international travel.

As consumer expectations rise, the integration of lifestyle perks like Privilee reflects a broader shift in banking—one where value is measured not just in interest rates or fees, but in the quality of life enhancements that come with the card in your wallet.
