In a bold statement of performance and regional relevance, Nissan premiered the all-new Patrol NISMO in the Middle East on Thursday, unveiling the high-powered SUV to a crowd of motoring enthusiasts and media. A decade after introducing the first Patrol NISMO, this latest model is engineered specifically for Middle Eastern drivers and conditions — a world-first debut that highlights the region’s significance in Nissan’s global strategy.

Boasting 495 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, the new Patrol NISMO becomes the most powerful Patrol to date, featuring a region-specific twin-turbo V6 engine and an aggressive aerodynamic redesign. Developed through extensive customer feedback, the SUV represents a fusion of motorsport precision and rugged capability, delivering both race-inspired thrills and off-road confidence.

“This all-new model was developed from the ground up using insights from across the Middle East,” said Thierry Sabbagh, President of Nissan in the region. “It’s a tribute to the region’s passion for performance, combining sports car sensations with the commanding presence of an SUV.”

Performance Engineered for the Region

The Patrol NISMO is powered by the VR35DDTT twin-turbo V6, hand-assembled at Nissan’s renowned Iwaki Plant in Japan. This version, exclusive to the Middle East, delivers the highest output ever from this engine. Paired with a recalibrated 9-speed automatic transmission, the SUV offers a sharp, connected driving experience enhanced by NISMO-tuned E-Dampers and electronic power steering.

To ensure high-speed stability, the model includes layered aero diffusers, rear air splitters, and a revised front bumper that channels cooling air to the brakes, reducing disc temperatures by 6%. The NISMO-tuned exhaust and active sound enhancement heighten the sensory thrill of every drive.

Design with a Purpose

Visually, the Patrol NISMO commands attention with a reimagined V-Motion grille, red accents, 22-inch RAYS-forged alloy wheels, and aerodynamic enhancements that serve both function and flair. Available in five colors, including a NISMO-exclusive Stealth Gray, customers can also opt for dual-tone combinations with a black roof.

Inside, the cabin features black-and-red leather, carbon fiber-style panels, red seat belts, and embroidered NISMO logos. Sport seats with bolstered sides ensure comfort and support, especially under spirited driving conditions.

Joining a Legacy

The all-new Patrol NISMO joins Nissan’s regional lineup alongside the classic Patrol and the off-road-focused Patrol PRO-4X, offering diverse choices for Middle Eastern customers. Launching in July 2025, the vehicle will be available across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and broader GCC markets through Nissan’s official network.

With this high-performance update, Nissan reaffirms its commitment to the Middle East, not just as a market, but as a crucible for innovation and performance-driven design — elevating the Patrol nameplate to new heights.
