Omnix International, a UAE-based leader in digital transformation and technology solutions, has announced a major expansion of its manufacturing-focused digitization portfolio. The move aims to help industries across the Middle East transition toward Industry 5.0, which blends human-centric innovation with automation, immersive technologies, and sustainable operations.
The company’s new offering comes at a time of mounting challenges for global manufacturers, including disrupted supply chains, rising energy costs and shortages of skilled labour. Against this backdrop, demand is growing for smarter, more agile, and data-driven production environments.
Walid Gomaa, CEO of Omnix, said manufacturers were under pressure to embrace more intelligent and sustainable practices.
“Our goal is to help them reimagine production through intelligent digitization where the focus is not only on automating processes but moving away from a fragmented production ecosystem to one which is integrated, predictive and human centric,” he explained.
Industry 5.0 ambitions
Omnix’s “Digitization in Manufacturing” initiative introduces a suite of modular solutions designed to serve industries ranging from automotive and aerospace to electronics, energy, and oil and gas.
Key capabilities include advanced design-to-production workflows, real-time smart factory enablement, XR-driven immersive training, digital twin and simulation platforms, and AI-powered analytics for improved decision-making. Remote collaboration tools will also allow secure operational support from anywhere.
Unlike conventional providers, the firm positions its solutions as modular and interoperable, tailored for the Middle East’s industrial context. Omnix says its differentiator lies in unifying immersive design, engineering-grade simulations, automation, and operational visibility into a single, scalable framework.
Rizwan Kareem, Business Unit Manager at Omnix, said the focus was on bridging the physical and digital needs of clients.
“It is our way of seeing manufacturers pave their path towards Industry 5.0. Our strength lies in unifying design, automation, AI and XR into a single platform that helps customers achieve their strategic goals,” he added.
Regional deployments underway
While the solutions draw on Omnix’s established track record in digitisation for the AEC and government sectors, the company confirmed integrated pilot environments are already in progress with select manufacturing clients across the Middle East.
These pilots are being rolled out in phases according to customer requirements and timelines, with live demonstrations and industry engagements scheduled across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.
Long-term strategy
Omnix’s broader vision is to build resilient and sustainable manufacturing models that meet both Industry 4.0 and the emerging demands of Industry 5.0. The company plans to collaborate with regulators, academic institutions and technology partners to develop a supportive ecosystem for manufacturers in the region.
This includes fostering workforce upskilling through immersive learning and offering end-to-end digital services — from consulting and architecture to implementation and change management.
The initiative also extends Omnix’s digitisation legacy beyond its traditional sectors, positioning the company as a cross-industry digital innovation enabler in the Middle East.
