OMODA&JAECOO, one of the fastest-growing smart mobility brands globally, has announced the imminent UAE launch of its highly anticipated crossover SUV, the OMODA C7. Engineered to meet the region’s climate and driving challenges, the C7 promises to blend futuristic design, advanced hybrid technology, and extreme heat resilience.

Set to enter the UAE market in the coming weeks, the OMODA C7 arrives as a symbol of next-generation mobility tailored for the Gulf region’s harsh conditions and modern drivers.

The vehicle underwent a series of high-temperature endurance tests in Turpan, China, one of the hottest regions on Earth. With surface temperatures reaching 76°C, OMODA CEO Shawn Xu personally led trials that pushed the car’s thermal management systems to the limit. In one standout demonstration, the cabin cooled from 62°C to 28.3°C in just 15 minutes, showcasing the vehicle’s advanced climate control system—a key feature for UAE drivers.

But beyond heat endurance, the C7 marks a significant leap in crossover design and technology. Recently awarded Gold at the French Design Awards, the vehicle features bold exterior styling, “rhythmic” lighting, and a 15.6-inch star-track sliding infotainment screen, a segment first. Inside, the cabin boasts next-gen smart noise cancellation, offering passengers a near-silent driving experience whether in city traffic or on remote desert roads.

At the core of the UAE launch is the C7 SHS (Super Hybrid System), a next-generation powertrain that combines electric and fuel power for maximum range and minimal emissions. In global testing, the C7 SHS completed a record-breaking 1,457 km Super Hybrid Marathon, covering a variety of terrain and climate conditions. The model offers class-leading fuel efficiency, seamless acceleration, and the kind of long-range capability ideal for extended highway travel in the UAE.

“OMODA C7 is more than just a car—it’s a lifestyle vehicle created for tomorrow’s generation of confident, tech-savvy, and sustainability-focused drivers,” said CEO Shawn Xu.
“Its award-winning design, intelligent systems, and climate durability reflect our commitment to the needs of each regional market—especially the Middle East.”

To mark the UAE debut, OMODA will host exclusive test drives, user co-creation events, and a digital-first brand engagement campaign tailored to the modern, connected consumer. From the skyscrapers of Dubai to the dunes of Liwa, the OMODA C7 aims to deliver a futuristic and resilient driving experience.

As the brand accelerates its global rollout, the UAE will serve as a key market for the C7’s positioning as a smart crossover for the new era—uniting performance, sustainability, and innovation under one sleek roof.
