Ooredoo Oman has announced a strategic partnership with Mursi United Company to launch ESG-as-a-Service, a pioneering digital platform designed to help businesses monitor and enhance their sustainability performance.

The AI-driven solution enables organisations across sectors such as industry, oil and gas, and banking to measure, manage, and report on key Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics. By offering a unified platform, ESG-as-a-Service empowers enterprises to track compliance, reduce emissions, and take concrete steps towards carbon neutrality.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at Ooredoo’s headquarters in Muscat, attended by senior executives from both companies. The initiative aligns with Oman’s Vision 2040, a national strategy for economic diversification and sustainability.

“Ooredoo is proud to partner with Mursi United Company to deliver what is an exciting and important solution,” said Saied Sadiq Al Lawati, Acting Chief Business and Wholesale Officer at Ooredoo. “This offering both meets business needs and supports the Sultanate’s broader vision for a sustainable, diversified economy. It empowers organisations to align their operations and contribute to a greener future for all.”

The ESG-as-a-Service platform integrates artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to provide real-time tracking, automated regulatory reporting, and customisable ESG dashboards. These features allow companies to visualise progress, identify risk areas, and make informed sustainability decisions.

According to Mr. Sajid Askari, Managing Director at Mursi United Company, the solution is a timely response to increasing global and regional demand for accountable, transparent sustainability practices.

“With ESG-as-a-Service, we are enabling Omani enterprises to embed sustainability into their core operations,” Askari explained. “This platform is a vital tool for industries to navigate the evolving ESG landscape, monitor performance, and move confidently toward a low-carbon future.”

This collaboration signals a growing trend in the Gulf region, where companies are integrating digital innovation with environmental responsibility. It also highlights the role of telecom operators like Ooredoo in shaping ESG transformation through technology.

Beyond compliance, the platform supports companies in aligning with global frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals and international ESG standards, ensuring transparency in reporting and building stakeholder trust.

Ooredoo reaffirmed its commitment to leveraging digital tools for national development, positioning itself as a partner in both economic and environmental progress. By introducing ESG-as-a-Service, it extends its reach beyond connectivity into the heart of corporate sustainability strategies.

The partnership with Mursi United Company reflects a shared ambition: to transform ESG reporting from a compliance burden into a strategic opportunity for growth, resilience, and long-term value creation.

As Oman continues to drive forward its green agenda, platforms like ESG-as-a-Service are poised to play a critical role in helping industries future-proof their operations and contribute meaningfully to the country’s sustainable future.
