Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort is positioning itself as a prime choice for families seeking a peaceful retreat along one of the island’s quieter stretches of coastline. Located on the tranquil Mai Khao Beach, the property combines privacy, comfort and a variety of family-friendly amenities with a setting of fresh sea air and lush tropical greenery.

The resort’s spacious rooms and villas provide a choice of garden, pool or ocean views, with some categories offering private pools or bathtubs. All rooms include private balconies, plush bedding, and modern conveniences designed for a relaxing stay.

For younger guests, the Kids Club offers supervised activities, from Thai arts and crafts to interactive games. While children are entertained, adults can make use of the on-site spa, where treatments include traditional Thai massages and calming therapies. Morning yoga sessions, a beachfront pool, and direct access to the sand add to the resort’s leisurely pace.

Catering for Diverse Tastes
Food is a central focus at the resort, with Ocean Kitchen serving Thai and international cuisine, including fresh seafood and grilled meats. Halal-certified options are available to meet the needs of Muslim travellers, a feature the resort highlights as part of its inclusive hospitality. The Nook café offers a more casual setting, with coffee, light snacks and ice cream throughout the day.

Exploring Beyond the Beach
The property’s location places guests within reach of several attractions. Sirinat National Park is nearby, offering nature trails and coastal scenery. For more adventurous excursions, boat trips to Phang Nga Bay provide a chance to explore its iconic limestone cliffs and emerald waters. Cultural discovery awaits in Old Phuket Town, known for its Sino-Portuguese architecture and bustling street food scene. Guests can also join a Thai cooking class starting with a guided visit to a local market to select fresh ingredients.

Stay Longer, Receive More
Le Méridien is promoting a package for stays of three nights or more, including daily breakfast for two, a complimentary room upgrade when available, and early check-in or late check-out. Marriott Bonvoy members can earn points according to their tier status.

Added benefits include a 30-minute head massage for two, a private wellness activity such as Thai boxing or Pilates, and a Thai herb planting session. Evening drinks featuring local alcoholic beverages are offered between 17:00 and 18:00 hrs.

Guests staying for a week or more can take advantage of laundry service for up to 10 items, complimentary roundtrip transfers to Central Festival shopping centre, and free entry to the Peranakan Museum. Bicycles are also available for those wishing to explore the area at a slower pace.

The resort’s combination of coastal seclusion, inclusive dining, and curated local experiences makes it a compelling option for travellers seeking both relaxation and cultural immersion.
