Rixos Dubai extends summer with family escapes

As families prepare for the return to school, Rixos The Palm Dubai Hotel & Suites is keeping the summer spirit alive with its seasonal programme, The Summer of Cool.

Located on Palm Jumeirah’s shoreline, the resort is highlighting its mix of leisure, entertainment, and hospitality as it encourages families, couples, and solo travellers to make the most of the final weeks of summer.

General Manager Murat Zorlu said the aim was to capture the energy of the season while offering guests a way to “beat the heat” through carefully curated experiences.

Suites and stays

The property is offering a range of accommodation options, from standard rooms to expansive Four- and Five-Bedroom Suites with private pools and built-in barbecue areas. These spaces are designed for larger families looking for a private retreat and the chance to host intimate gatherings.

Couples and wellness-focused travellers can opt for the Wellness Room with Pool Access. Situated near the spa, it features lagoon views, a garden, and plunge pool, offering a more tranquil experience.

Pools and activities

Guests can choose from four pools and a private beach. Options range from a quiet adults-only pool to a splash pool for children, alongside two large family pools. For those looking for a cooling break, poolside cabanas provide shaded comfort with chilled towels, fresh fruit, complimentary ice cream, and Evian facial mist.

Children can join the Rixy Kids’ Club, which runs supervised activities including arts and crafts, sports, and daily mini discos. Adults can stay active with aqua cycling, floating yoga, water aerobics, and fitness classes at the resort’s sports club.

Dining

Dining is offered on an all-inclusive basis. Guests can begin the day with breakfast at A La Turca, enjoy international cuisine at Turquoise Restaurant for lunch, or stop by Patisserie Istanbul for coffee and snacks. Dinner options include Italian dishes at L’Olivo Ristorante, followed by evening drinks at Bar1 or Bodrum Lounge.

A seasonal message

Zorlu emphasised that the goal was to help families and couples capture meaningful moments before the end of the holiday season. “For us, it’s always summer,” he said, adding that the resort seeks to embody “sun-soaked relaxation and vibrant energy” year-round.

With August drawing to a close, the resort is positioning itself as a final stop for families wanting one last staycation or short break before the school term begins.

Bookings can be made via the resort directly on +971 (4) 457 5555 or through rixos.com.
