Royal Jordanian Airlines has secured the top global ranking for on-time performance in July 2025, according to the latest data published by OAG, an international aviation analytics company.

The carrier achieved an on-time performance rate of 95.21% for both arrivals and departures during the month, placing it first among global airlines. The recognition reflects Royal Jordanian’s consistent efforts to enhance operational efficiency and uphold punctual scheduling, particularly during the peak summer travel season.

Global recognition for punctuality

OAG’s monthly performance studies assess airlines worldwide based on the percentage of flights departing or arriving within 15 minutes of their scheduled time. Its reports are regarded as a benchmark for reliability and operational standards across the aviation industry.

Royal Jordanian’s achievement demonstrates its continued ability to meet international standards of accuracy, with the airline highlighting the expertise of its ground handling staff and strong focus on passenger satisfaction as key factors in its success.

CEO hails achievement

Vice Chairman and CEO of Royal Jordanian, Eng. Samer Majali, said the airline was proud to secure this leading position among global carriers.

“This accomplishment adds to our significant achievements over the years,” he said. “It reinforces our standing as one of the world’s top airlines for punctuality, and reflects our focus on delivering a seamless travel experience for our passengers.”

Majali pointed to the importance of maintaining high levels of efficiency across all operational areas, from scheduling to ground services, in order to meet and exceed passenger expectations.

Modern fleet supports efficiency

Royal Jordanian has also invested in upgrading its fleet to support greater efficiency and passenger comfort. The airline recently introduced the Airbus A320neo, a new-generation aircraft designed for operational and commercial advantages.

The A320neo is fitted with WiFi and personal entertainment screens, offering passengers enhanced connectivity and comfort. In addition, the airline has added Embraer E2 jets to its fleet, another advanced model known for fuel efficiency and improved performance.

Strengthening regional and global position

Industry observers note that Royal Jordanian’s performance further strengthens its position as a competitive regional carrier. The airline has built a reputation for operational precision, while also modernising its fleet to support its network and improve customer experience.

The July results add momentum to the airline’s broader strategic goals, with the company reaffirming its commitment to continuous improvement in reliability, service quality, and fleet development.

As global air travel continues to recover and expand, Royal Jordanian’s ranking signals a strong advantage in attracting passengers who value punctuality and seamless travel experiences.
