Beady Eye to perform at FLASH Forum

One of the most recognisable figures in modern British music, Liam Gallagher, will arrive in Abu Dhabi next month to perform with his new rock band Beady Eye, as part of their world-wide tour.

FLASH Entertainment has invited the band to perform on 16th September at the FLASH Forum, Yas Island. To add to the excitement, FLASH and Etihad Airways are giving four lucky fans a chance to see Beady Eye live in New York on 9th December.

Formed just weeks after Oasis split in 2009 Beady Eye has been compared to the likes of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Following a summer of festival tours across Asia and parts of Europe – including stops in Tokyo, Berlin, London, Milan and Brussels – fans are raving about Beady Eye; one fan tweeted: “Liam still has it. A rock ‘n roll star”.

Gallagher had this to say of his new band: “It was important not to sit and dwell on the past.

“We’d just come off an Oasis tour and we were on fire, if we’d said, let’s do something in a few months, or next year, the flame would have burned out or we’d have got the fear.”

Tickets to the concert are available now from www.thinkflash.ae. Prices start from AED 295 for general admission (standing) and AED 495 for the Fan Pit closest to the stage (standing).
