Abu Dhabi International School’s Mother’s Committee for Students with Special Needs organised an event at the Royal Stables last week in association with Student Support Services at the school.

Around 23 AIS students attended (each student with special needs invited one of his or her classmates or a friend or family member) along with mothers of students with special needs.

A workshop was also hosted for parents, highlighting behavioural and learning differences while the kids enjoyed a host of activities, including a tour of the stable, horse riding, storytelling by the poet Bahareh, magic and bubble show by Walid and of course the lunch snacks and a cake by Arlequin.

The committee is now planning an indoor event in May. Please check the website moms4sn and facebook page for updates.
